Colourful ?

Im not entirely sure what to call this one

But here it is :D
Each nail is a different colour
I used 2 different shades of purple
2 different greens and then pink
all of the polish's I used are shimmery apart from the paler purple, so I went over it with a shimmery lilac

I saw this design in my copy of nail venue but without the white dots... I added them because i thought it needed some extra oomph and couldnt be asked to fiddle with gems.
I dont know whether you can see or not but there is a streak of silver inbetween the blue stripes.

I really liked this design :D
I even got complimented by the lady at the post office

Blue Crackle with French Tips :)

So this time is a new one I did yesterday
I was too lazy to do fiddle details so I pulled out my crackle polish :D
I used the Blue Barry M one :)

Personally I dont particularly like it because the cracks come out really small
and its matte .... i dont really like matt polishes but i did a top coat so its not anymore :D 

The base coat and tips are a really dark shimmery blue ... its pretty much like a shimmery black

Its pretty simple this time because I was tired but I needed to do my nails
whenever I go out I always like to have nice nails :)

The tips over the crackle polish are actually really nice .. because theyre textured.. it kinda reminds me of wallpaper XD

Blue :D

I must admit naming these posts is quite hard but oh well ...

This time the design in Blue and silver
It was quite hard because painting straight lines wih my shaky hands is really difficult
But here it is :)

I really like this design :)
Its simple but really nice :D



I picked up the light blue nail varnish in a 100yen shop in Togashi Ginza so it was around 90p or less ... and even though its cheap is a really good quality varnish.
Two coats were needed but thats only because its a pale colour... i do 2 coats with most main colours anyway.
For the dark blue I used my Rio nail are brush not the pen, and the silver pen with two coats for the silver lines.
To add the gems (I used silver square gems) I used a nail adhesive instead of a top coat.
By nail adhesive i dont mean the glue you use to stick on false nails but its more of a PVA glue that you need to wait for it to go clear befre you stick anything with it. Its really quite strong.
I finished with a top coat as usual.... although it changed how the gems looked slightly.

This lasted quite a few days, and then the gems fell of after around 2 days but it was more because of their positions.

Stripey polka dots

I saw this design in one of the nail magazines i bought
but I changed the colours and added some gems :)
Its stripey and polka dotty ?

 Again its kinda messy round the edges :O
I started with a dark purple that I found in turkey ... its really dark and when you remove it its an inky blue colour. I then painted the stripes with my silver nail art pen, using the brush and the polka dots with the pen bit. I had to use a top coat to make it really stand out.
The stripes are only on the thumb and pinky finger, with the polka dots on the middle finger.

The gems I used are silver, lilac and then a magenta but more on the purple side.
Theres one of each colour on the pinky finger going from light to dark, two on the ring finger the magenta and the lilac.
One on the middle finger, replacing one of the dots. Two on the index finger lilac and silver and then finally all 3 colours on the thumb.

Note that none of the gems are in the same position like on the thumb the gems are near the bottom of the nail and on the pinky they are near the tip. The same for the ring and index finger ... theyre inverted (?)

I finished with a nice top coat and again remembered to cap the edges... it makes them last longer :)

Hmmm this one was an old one again ... i think i'll get all the ones ive done out of the way before i start updating in real time ^-^

Happy !!!

Today I am soooo happy
I finally went to the Johnnys shop in Harajuku followed buy a short visit to Shibuya to buy Arashi's Meikyuu Love Song :D:D

I got to Harajuku around 1pm a little earlier than that i think... then i found the Johnnys shop and got a ticket for 3pm not too bad I dont think ... i dont really care i got in either way :D:D

Before I got in I went to buy some thigh high socks for me and a pair as a present for my second oldest sister and a coat/cape/cloak thingy and a hair clip for my little sister
But theyre not that important

When i was around half 2 we (my friend and I) made our way to the queue (a really long queue) when we were waiting we saw the Himitsu no Arashi-chan Mannequin 5 punishment bus ... i got a picture on its third circuit :D

 eeeeee!! Matsujun why did you choose those clothes ?!?!?!



Anyway that aside ... I got into the shop at around quarter past 3pm and I was a bit confused at first as to what to do exactly but I asked the worker and she showed me ... By the way all the staff are really kind :)

Since I knew what do do I started choosing I got a nice Aiba/Matsujun Pairing ... Ohno, Nino and Sho pairing.... Aiba on his own 2 of Arashi all together and a great picture of Tamamori Yuta from Kis-My-Ft2 and last but not least 2 photos of TegoMasu I wanted a Koyashige but they didnt have any and they had none of the new 4 membered NEWS which is a shame because I would have bought them
I'll upload pictures of them when I can take good quality scans of them :D so when im back in England

Next we took a short trip to Shibuya ... we took the train even though its only a short walk
We set out for the tower records ... but tsutaya was closer so we went there but theyd all sold out of the DVD version of Meikyuu love song so i settled with just the CD .... I suppose i saved some money in the long run XD We checked the tower records afterwards and they didnt have the DVD either

There were huge billboards of Sexy Zone and one smaller one for Akanishi Jin so I took photos like a good fangirl... there was a 2pm promotion van as well ... i took a picture but i wasnt as excited for that :)

So thats all for today unless people actually want to hear how i got the train home?

Music

A list of artists I just cant stop listening to this month
Arashi ... Naturally I listen to them everday so theres no change there,  but ive been listening to Dear Snow quite a lot ... maybe im unconciously hoping that it will snow XD

Shimizu Shota ... I love his whole Mada Owaranai single its just sooo sweet :)

MISIA ... I heard her song Ame no Sonata on a shampoo advert and that whole album is just amazing

School Food Punishment... I really love their songs Halation and Kakenukeru right now theres just something about it I love

TegoMasu ... their TegoMasu no Mahou album is amazing !! especially Yuuyake to Koi to Jitensha

and finally SPYAIR .... I kept seeing an advert for their album rockin the world and i thought they sound quite good so I had a look ... every single one of their songs is amazing !!! My favourite right now is Beautiful Days its just sooo undescribably amazing !!

Lady Birds !!!

I did these a while ago :D
Theyre Lady Birds!! or Lady bugs ... whatever you want to call them

I used my ridge filler as a base coat and then added another coat for a natural finish (what the bottle says)
It looks nice as well :)
and then i started by painting the red, I didnt want every nail to be the same so I made each nail a different view of a lady bird :) I used a navy blue for the details because I stupidly forgot my black nail art pen at home in England...
I finished the design off with a top coat and didnt forget to cap the edges
I think they turned out quite well :)
The main focus is the middle finger with the antennas :D

Sorry for the messy edges... I took the picture just after I painted them and i have really shaky hands so the edges are always messy ...
I do wonder how i manage to draw the designs unmessily though ^-^

First!

I thought I'd introduce myself to start with :)

Hello! My names Hannah nice to meet you :)
my online username is chii1571 ... for everything seriously
Im 18, 19 in January, English and live in England
Right now im on holiday in Japan for 3 months
and I can speak Japanese i learnt for 3 years and passed my first JLPT :D

Anyways my favourite activities are pretty much fangirling and doing my nails... theyre the only things I do consistently
By  fangirling i mean over Johnnys (Johnnys Entertainment talents) mainly and some kpop stars mainly men though .... My favourite group ever is Arashi ... no one can compare

I change my nails around 2-3 times a week ... and decorate them with different designs.... I do them manually by hand because me and the Konad stampts dont mix well ... so each design can take me up to 3 hours
I only recently started taking pictures of my nails because my skills got to a nice point that doesnt look too shabby :D

So I think that should be enough of an introduction
